ALL OUT EMO

All Out Emo! came about during the early stages of 2020. Having been in bands since he was 14 years old. He wanted to create something “the likes of which had never been seen”. With a huge love for all things 90’s and 00’s, the path which had to be taken became pretty obvious; to create a band that celebrates the best of all the Pop-Punk/Emo/NuMetal bands from the generation which we all know and love.

Camera Exposure

Exposure triangle – three parameters associated with photograph

Shutter speed – the speed at witch the shutter closes. A fast shutter speed creates a shorter exposure — the amount of light the camera takes in — and a slow shutter speed gives the photographer a longer exposure.

Aperture – refers to the opening of a lens’s diaphragm through which light passes. It is calibrated in f/stops and is generally written as numbers such as 1.4, 2, 2.8, 4, 5.6, 8, 11 and 16.

Sensitivity – basically your camera’s sensitivity to light and is measured in ISO. The higher the ISO sensitivity the brighter the image however it can create ‘digital noise’

Project 2 Task 2

All Out Emo Evaluation

On Tuesday we started to set up for all out emo using the 3D render of the stage plan adding couple of changes as we go however as we had had another band in on Monday the LED word that we had in for the week was already set up.

Wednesday was the actual recording and it went OK however some things could be improved on (detailed below)

My role was AV I did the job to the best of my ability however I made a couple of errors which i will be working towards not happening again (detailed below)

Overall the head of AV Alfie did a good job at showing me how to use the equipment and how to set it up to match the groups vision.

Positives & Negatives

For this project 3 positives were;

1) being able to work out where each camera needed to be to give us the best shots.  2) I was able to work out why something wasn’t working and then sorting out how to fix/change it.  3) We met the brief and gave the client a product they were happy with.

3 things I could have done better

1) Communicating with my Head Of Department Alfie a bit more  2) Make sure the equipment works before i rig it   3) staying calm and trying not to rush what i am doing as that is where i often make mistakes.

3 Things as a group we could have done better

1) Time management as we were a bit rushed towards the end to get everything finished   2) Test the equipment so that we are 100% sure it works   3) Group communication so that we know what each department has already done and what they have left to do.
